What's in the bag? Join us for the Mildmay Festival

We're all choked up!

A bumper bag this week with the first aubergines of the year, rainbow chard and mixed herbs from The Calthorpe Project (a fragrant mix of bay leaves, rosemary, oregano and sage). As with all your vegbag contents, please make sure you wash them first or you may end up with some unintended protein!

As a treat, we managed to get some globe artichokes from Spain. These delicious vegetables are full of tasty meat in their hearts. If you haven't prepared one before, BBC Goodfood guide has made this helpful video.

Somehow, we managed to get some potatoes this week! We're not sure if we will be this lucky again next week however so we may look at getting some from our European suppliers.

Come say hello!

Angel Greens is going to be at the Mildmay Festival of Nature at Newington Green this weekend. Organised by The Garden Classroom, the festival aims to connect urban children and families to nature and will be running activities, workshops and talks about ways to better connect with our natural environment. Please pop by and say hello on Saturday (11am - 5pm) or Sunday (12pm - 4pm).

Could you be an Angel?

Your vegbag needs you! We are growing to the point of no return! And we need helpers to keep up with the demand!
What's involved? Putting vegetables in a bag (super simple)
When? Wednesdays 9:30-13:00 (max 4 hours)
Are there any perks? Absolutely! You get to know some amazing people in your community! Also all bag packers get 10% off their vegbags.
